Who builds this project
This is an open, free community project: guides, checklists and tools to get your Italian residence permit yourself, without agents or costly middlemen. We check the material against the official requirements and gather real relocation experience.

How we verify information
- Official sources only. Requirements, forms and amounts are checked against, and linked only to, esteri.it (visti), interno.gov.it, portaleimmigrazione.it, poste.it, questure.poliziadistato.it and agenziaentrate.gov.it.
- Community experience is labelled. Quotes from members sit in separate blocks with a "personal opinion" badge and are never mixed with the official requirements. Names are real or "community member" - no invented quotes.
- An honest date. Every article carries an "updated" date - the date the text was last edited, not an automatic stamp. When there is no date, we do not show one.
- Not legal advice. We explain the process and give a guide based on experience. Decide on your own case only after checking the official site or a specialist.
- Corrections. Found a mistake or an outdated figure - write to us via the form below. We check it, fix the article and refresh the date. More about the project and method.
