Privacy and your data

The project follows a «serverless first» principle. Everything you enter - profile, checklist progress, evidence, notes, achievements - is stored anonymously in your browser (localStorage). Additionally we keep an anonymous backup copy of this data on our server, tied to your browser (see the section below) - so you do not lose progress even if you clear your cookies. We do not share anything with third parties.

So your progress is not lost even after you clear cookies, we keep an anonymous copy of your data on our server. It is tied not to a name but to a technical browser «fingerprint» (screen resolution, language, time zone and the like), computed by an open-source library right in your browser.

The fingerprint is used to link your local data with the backup copy, so that when you return to the site everything is in place, and - for safety - to recognize when a user we had to block returns from the same device under a new account. We do not use it for advertising, selling data or marketing profiling and do not share it with third parties.

This is not a hundred-percent identification: the fingerprint may match across similar devices or change after a browser update. It is a trade-off for convenience, not a way to track you. In the rare case of a full fingerprint match, another user might see such an anonymous copy (progress and profile fields - without name or contacts); if this matters to you, sign in to an account - then the data is tied only to it, and the anonymous copy is no longer used. The backup works only if the server is configured, - otherwise everything stays local in the browser. The server copy can be deleted on request.

Only the project administrator has access to the server copy: they can see the saved progress (including profile fields) for support and usage analytics. This data is published nowhere and is not shared with third parties.

If you sign in through an account, your data starts syncing between devices: it is stored in a secure database and tied to your account. This is entirely your choice - without signing in, everything keeps working locally.

Nothing personal. Reviews of specialists are anonymous and moderated; materials in the library are anonymized; the anonymous readiness comparison uses only percentages and field, without personal data. Documents backing up reviews are seen only by moderators and are published nowhere.

If analytics is enabled, it works without cookies and without personal data - only de-identified events (which tools were opened). By default the project is built without any analytics.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. You can clear local data at any moment with your browser tools; the anonymous server copy is tied to the browser fingerprint, and it can be deleted on request.
