Allegati are the attachments to a permesso di soggiorno or visa D application: the document copies that prove identity, the motive of stay, housing and means. So it pays to assemble the documents early and in two identical sets: one goes into the envelope, the other you bring in person.
There is no single nationwide list. First, the pack depends on the motive: lavoro autonomo, family reunification, study and cambio residenza call for different proofs. Second, Questure publish their own variants: for lavoro autonomo the Torino and Milano/Como lists do not match. Finally, per community experience the fingerprint appointment often asks for more than the KIT instruction shows: a rental contract, proof of income, in some Questure an idoneita abitativa.
