About this document

A study aid for the first stage of the practical exam for the Italian category B licence - the part where the examiner asks questions before the drive. It covers the typical blocks: dashboard warning lights (oil pressure, overheating, alternator, braking system) and what to do for each; mandatory documents and equipment (patente, carta di circolazione, insurance, vest, warning triangle); licence validity periods by age and revisione intervals; restrictions for neopatentati - speed, zero alcohol, power limits (the material mentions rules from late 2024 - check the current ones); tyres, safety systems and what you may drive with category B. Useful for those getting the patente from scratch.

How to use it

Rehearse all the question blocks aloud in Italian - that is exactly how you will answer at the exam. Pay special attention to the warning lights and the neopatentati restrictions: they are asked most often, and the power rules have changed - verify the current values with your driving school. The document can be viewed page by page in the protected viewer.
