A sample sponsorship letter in English for a Schengen visa application package. Such a letter is written by a financial guarantor - usually a close relative or the inviting person - when a third party covers the trip expenses instead of the applicant. In the sample the sponsor personally assumes all financial expenditures of the trip of a family member (a daughter in the example), lists his passport details, the degree of kinship, the passport details of the visa applicant, the destination country and travel period, then dates and signs it. All names and numbers in the file are fictional and serve as a filling example. The letter is submitted together with proof of the sponsor funds and proof of kinship; check the specific consulate requirements before applying.

How to use it
Rewrite the text with your own data, keeping the structure: who the sponsor is, whose expenses are covered, the country and travel dates. Attach proof of kinship and the sponsor financial documents - the letter does not work without them. Remember that many consulates accept sponsorship only from immediate relatives.
