The official Comunicazione di Ospitalita form - a notice of providing housing to a non-EU foreigner under art. 7 D.lgs 286/98. The host or property owner files it with the local public security authority (police or carabinieri) within 48 hours of the foreigner moving in. The notice is mandatory when providing housing, transferring property for use or ownership, or hiring a foreigner; violations carry an administrative fine (per the form - 160 to 1100 euro, check current amounts).
